Today was the 5th day of my year goal! It was surprisingly warm outside with the temperature reaching 40 degrees! The snow was melting and the air was not even hazy! I drove to Sugar House Park because it is a great 1.4 mile loop with a couple good climbs. I did 3 loops and had a great pacer. My pacer is great, every time I picked up the pace he would stay about an arms length ahead. He is pretty competitive that way. My pacer is great because we have the same taste in music. He loves George Strait almost as much as I do. We had the park pretty much to ourselves and we loved this run. I wish all of January could be like this.
